Cases

A case is the unit of investigation work. Use cases to collect related incidents, assign ownership, set priority, and keep notes — anything that spans more than a single incident.

Create a case

On the cases page, click New case. Give it a title and description, link the relevant incidents, and pick an assignee and a priority (P1–P4).

Edit inline

Open a case and edit any field directly — title, description, status, priority, assignee. Changes are saved as you tab out.

As new incidents land that belong to the same investigation, link them to the case from the incident detail page or from the case itself.

Close when done

Move the case to Resolved or Closed once the investigation wraps up. The case stays searchable for audit purposes.

Sort the list

Click any column header to sort: Case ID, Title, Status, Priority, or Updated. Clicking again toggles ascending/descending; a third click snaps back to the default (most recently updated first). The sort lives in the URL, so it survives a refresh and can be shared.
